The UPSC Mains is the second and most comprehensive stage of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination. It is a written, descriptive exam that tests a candidate’s in-depth knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to express thoughts clearly. Only candidates who qualify for the UPSC Prelims can appear for the UPSC Mains, making it a crucial step towards becoming an IAS, IPS, IFS, or other Group A & B officer.
